As a long time member of The Laguna Niguel Women’s Club, Denise has served as their treasurer twice and has been active in many of their fund raising events.  For the past three years, Denise has organized the annual “Swap Meet” which is held in partnership with Prudential California Realty – Laguna Niguel Design Center office.  The monies raised at the event, along with a $1,000 grant given by Prudential Finical each year, has allowed the club to award two $1,000 scholarships to deserving students for each of the past three years.

 The Swap Meet that Denise organizes is a part of Global Volunteer Day and the Prudential CARES Foundation. 

 Founded in 1977, The Prudential Foundation is the non-profit grant making organization of The Prudential Insurance Company of America. It is part of Prudential’s Community Resources Division, a strategic combination of four units: The Foundation, which strives to build children and families’ self-sufficiency; Local Initiatives, which coordinates employee volunteerism and fosters community partnerships; the Social Investment Program, which originates and manages socially beneficial investments; and Business Diversity Outreach, which facilitates diverse market development and outreach efforts for Prudential businesses

 Programs such as the Prudential CARES Volunteer Grants allow us to reward and support our employees and retirees in their volunteer efforts, which benefit more than 768 charitable organizations worldwide.

 Global Volunteer Day mobilizes company-wide volunteerism every October. Employee teams and their families participate in a variety of community service activities such as painting a school or feeding the hungry. Qualifying teams receive $1,000 from The Prudential Foundation for their chosen nonprofit partner.

 Denise is also a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and International fraternal organization whose purpose is the advancement of cultural and philanthropic causes.  She is currently on the Board of Directors for the California 2007 State Convention.
